• Provide quality, nurturing care to children enrolled in the program
• Ensure the safety and wellbeing of the children
• Implement the summer camp curriculum, policies and procedures, regulations, and guidelines in the daytoday classroom
• Develop a positive relationship with each child and promote the development of selfesteem and selfdiscipline
• Establish a positive relationship with each child's family
• Always maintain direct supervision of all children in care
• Maintain a wellorganized, safe, and attractive classroom environment conducive to the optimal growth and development of children
• Perform other duties as required or assigned

• Must have the ability to work as a team player.
• Must have a positive attitude and be passionate about supporting and inspiring children.
• Must have a warm and supportive attitude and disposition toward working with children and their families.
• Must be reliable.
• Must be flexible in receiving assignments or adapting to changes in the program.
• Must be willing to accept supervision to improve work performance.
• Must be physically able to perform the job of a teacher of young children.

• 23 years of jobrelated experience
• Experience in a school or educational setting preferred

• Monday to Friday

• High school or equivalent (preferred)

• Early Childhood or

• CPR Certification (preferred)
• DCF 45 hours training (preferred)
