WHAT DOES A TECHNICIAN DO?

  • Thoroughly clean the interior and exterior of vehicles not limited to waxing, leather conditioning, vacuuming and carpet shampooing.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by addressing customer inquiries, explaining services performed, and recommending additional detailing options when necessary.
  • Keep abreast of industry trends, advancements, and best practices related to car washing and detailing.
  • Assist with other automotive service tasks as needed or assigned.

Must Haves:

  • Must be at least18 years of age with a valid driver's license and the ability to drive
  • Selfdirected with a high level of energy
  • Interested in accuracy and doing what is right
  • Be a team player, hardworking, and honest
  • Be on time to work and reliable
  • Basic computer and math skills, techsavvy with a smartphone
  • Must be comfortable with working outside in occasionally hot, cold, or dirty conditions
  • Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other workrelated items (up to 50 lbs.)

Nice to Haves:

  • Customer service experience
  • Fleet experience (rental cars, trucks, etc.)

WORKING CONDITIONS:


This job will involve occasional exposure to some disagreeable elements such as hot and cold temperatures, loud noises, dust/dirt and exhaust fumes.


PHYSICAL DEMANDS:

  • Must be able to stand on hard surfaces for extended periods
  • Must be able to lift and move inventory items and other workrelated items (up to 50 pounds)
  • Must be able to work at a rapid pace for long periods
  • Must be able to push, pull, bend at the knees and waist, lift, twist body at the waist, raise and hold arms overhead, turn headneckshoulders as needed, climb steps, grasp and hold tools and other items with hands, all of this for either extended periods of time or many times throughout the day.
