The general function of the position within the organization is to perform work that is defined and related to minor administrative and customer service duties in addition to providing clerical support for a particular supervisor of group of supervisors.

This position is under supervision of our office manager.


Essential Functions:


  • Perform general office duties including include creating responses to customer inquiries, filing documents, etc.
  • Answer phone calls, return phone calls, and takes messages.
  • Provide customer service support by answering general inquiries.
  • Gather outgoing mail; sort and distribute incoming mail.
  • Maintain departmental records, input data into a specific database.
  • Assist with special projects.
  • Schedules inspections for field staff.
  • All other related duties as assigned.

Knowledge Skills Abilities and Education Required:

  • Gathers, organizes, analyzes, examines, or evaluates data or information.
  • Gives information, guidance, or assistance to people or may give instructions or assignments to helpers or assistants.
  • Reads technical instructions, charts, and/or procedures manuals; composes routine reports and completes job forms; speaks compound sentences using standard grammar. Performs coordinating work involving guidelines and rules with constant problem solving; requires continuous, close attention for accurate results or frequent exposure to unusual pressure.

Education and Other Requirements

  • Requires High school diploma, GED and formal training, special courses or selfeducation that is equivalent to satisfactory completion of one year of college education or specialized advanced training.
  • Requires one year of comparable clerical experience.
  • Requires Knowledge of records and operation of the office; modern office practices, procedures, and equipment; spelling, punctuation and grammar; PC operations and software (Word processing and spreadsheet) are required.

Physical Requirements

  • Performs sedentary work that involves sitting most of the time but may involve standing or walking for brief periods, exerting up to 25 pounds of force on a regular basis; and some dexterity in operating machines, tools, or office equipment.
