    Omni Logistics is a wholly owned subsidiary of Forward Air, a leading asset-light provider of transportation services across the United States, Canada and Mexico.

    We provide expedited less-than-truckload services, including local pick-up and delivery, shipment consolidation/deconsolidation, warehousing, and customs brokerage by utilizing a comprehensive national network of terminals.

    In addition, we offer truckload brokerage services, including dedicated fleet services, and intermodal, first- and last-mile, high-value drayage services, both to and from seaports and railheads, dedicated contract and Container Freight Station warehouse and handling services.

    We are more than a transportation company. Forward is a single resource for your shipping needs.


    Core Responsibilities & Duties:

    • Process all aspects of materials using warehouse inventory software
    • Label and ship orders according to established procedures for each customer
    • Accurately pick and weigh all shipments
    • Inspect freight and follow appropriate reporting procedures
    • Assist with inventory and cycle counts
    • Rotate and re-stock shelves according to inventory procedures
    • Verify all inbound and outbound materials
    • Provide prompt and accurate customer service
    • Arrange and maintain filing and recording systems
    • Document monthly activities for period end reporting
    • Safely load and unload trailers by utilizing equipment such as hand trucks/pallet jacks and forklifts
    • Shrink wrap freight pallets
    • Maintain a clean and save working environment
    • Other duties as assigned

    Job Requirements & Qualifications:

    • High school diploma or GED equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years' experience of general warehouse knowledge
    • Excellent customer service skills
    • Excellent verbal and written communication
    • Computer skills, including Microsoft Office products including Word, Excel, Outlook, etc.
    • Warehouse Oracle Database Experience is a plus
    • Must be able to frequently lift and/or move up to fifty (50) pounds
    • Forklift Certification preferred
    • Ability to work under minimal supervision
    • Ability to establish and maintain effective working relationships with employees and managers
