WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR
We are seeking a Development Engineer (m/f/d) to join our team in the Automation department at Rheinmetall Technology Center. This position will focus on the development of remote control systems for mobile platforms.

Responsibilities:

Capture technical requirements for subsystems and software components
Design, develop, and test software components
Support integration and commissioning in SiL and HiL environments, as well as in the target system
Document responsible components
Experience with ISO 26262 methodology

WHAT YOU SHOULD BRING

Bachelor's degree in engineering, preferably with a focus on mechatronics, electrical engineering, computer science, or a related field
Several years of professional experience in embedded systems development or as a research assistant (m/f/d) in relevant fields
Excellent programming and design skills in an objectoriented programming language
Experience in UI/UX design and embedded Linux
Experience in condition safety, driver assistance, and automation
Knowledge of communication architectures in vehicle technology
Strong technical understanding and curiosity for future technologies and mobility solutions
Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
Selfmotivated, goaloriented, and highly dedicated
Ability to work independently
