    Your Opportunity + Impact

    Our Geo-Environmental department is looking to add an Environmental Engineer to the teamThe Environmental Engineer works within a team of environmental professionals to complete a wide range of design projects such as stream restoration, Agricultural Best Management Practices (BMPs), and abandoned mine land reclamation.

    The position requires a Professional Engineer (PE) license and commensurate work experience within the environmental field.

    This position will lead the development of design plans including drawings and calculations, assist with evaluating BMPs and restoration features, maintain task budgets, assist with proposal preparation.

    Key Responsibilities

    Leads engineering efforts related to conservation and restoration practices.
    Has experience with environmental subjects and design principles.
    Possesses knowledge of codes and standards applicable to design of projects.
    Maintains collaborative inter-departmental and cross functional working relationships with members of the project team.
    Performs initial QA/QC review of project submissions.
    Assists senior management in development of schedules, technical proposals, and labor hour estimates.
    Works closely with project teams to effectively describe and deliver scope of work.
    Performs and checks design calculations, technical specifications, and prepares cost estimates.
    Develops and maintains design budgets for routine scopes of work.
    Education and Experience

    Education:
    Bachelor's Degree in position relevant Engineering field from ABET-accredited school or related field of study.

    Experience:
    Minimum of 7 yearsjob-related experience.

    Licensure/Certification:
    Professional Engineer (PE) required.

    Preferred Qualifications


    Must have thorough knowledge of A/E/S industry and the ability to quickly review, understand, and resolve complex design and construction related issues.

    Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil3D and HEC-RAS
    Experience with natural stream channel design, E&S plans, agricultural design, and/or stormwater design.
