Title: Registered Nurse ICU RN

Job Type: Permanent / Direct Hire

Setting: Intensive Care Unit

Location: Newburgh, NY

Schedule: Full-time, night shift 6:45 pm 7: 30 am varied shift, flexibility needed. Weekends are required. No on-call.

Pay: $48 - $62 depending on experience

The ICU Registered Nurse s duties to include but not be limited to:

Demonstrates basic knowledge of nursing theory and practice.
Knowledge of appropriate technology and practice standards for area of responsibility.
Demonstrates sound clinical skills, understanding of the acute care process, standards of practice and positive communication skills.

REQUIREMENTS:

Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
New York State Registered Nurse license required, or permit.
Current and active BLS certification.
Staff that are assigned to work in the Emergency Department must complete Non-Violent Crisis Intervention training on a bi annual basis.
All RNs working on a Telemetry Unit must complete a basic Dysrhythmia course and competency.
All RNs working on a Telemetry Unit must complete ACLS within 6 months of hire.
