    ACCOUNTING CLERK

    ABOUT THE COMPANY:

    Are you a detail-oriented individual with a knack for numbers and a desire to work in a supportive and family-friendly office environment? We are seeking a dedicated Accounting Clerk to become an integral part of our clients growing team. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a vital role in maintaining their financial operations, with a primary focus on Accounts Payable (AP) and Procurement tasks. If you possess a high level of attention to detail, strong organizational skills, and a friendly personality, we want to hear from you

    OVERVIEW OF THE ACCOUNTING CLERK ROLE:

    • Reconcile invoices, meticulously identify and resolve discrepancies, ensuring accurate financial records.
    • Place and receive orders, proactively track down any back orders by communicating with vendors.
    • Collaborate with the AP and AR teams, assisting in generating monthly statements for customers, whether via email or U.S. Mail.
    • Accounting Clerk needs to maintain a moderate level of proficiency in Excel for data analysis and reporting.
    • Exhibit excellent interpersonal skills, fostering positive relationships with customers and co-workers.
    • Multitask effectively to meet deadlines and contribute to the teams success.
    • Embrace their family-friendly office culture and actively participate in their collaborative work environment.

    PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS FOR THE ACCOUNTING CLERK:

    • Proven experience as an Accounting Clerk or similar role.
    • High level of attention to detail and accuracy.
    • Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask.
    • Moderate proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
    • Excellent interpersonal skills and a pleasant personality.
    • A collaborative mindset, with a desire to contribute to a supportive office culture.
