The position will be responsible for overseeing and managing operations in the region, including existing projects, incoming proposal requests, staff utilization, resource management, ensuring timely project deliverables, maximizing revenue and profit, increasing opportunities generated through Partner's due diligence "funnel", participating in internal and external business development efforts for region growth, developing and mentoring junior staff, supporting colleagues with expertise sharing and collaboration, creating and maintaining a strong work culture, and serving as a primary client and agency facing expert.

This position will collaborate with the National Managing Director and other Regional Directors and Managers across the US.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES, TASKS & RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Responsible for effectively managing staff utilization, timely project implementation, and profitability of region Regional Manager
  • ES NW
  • Prepare proposals collaboratively with team and oversee proposal communication and negotiation with clients and internal Partner Relationship Managers
  • Develop a strong presence with clients, regulators, and vendors in the region
  • Serve as a technical leader providing guidance to clients and Relationship Managers regarding path[1]to regulatory closure for Nor Cal and PNW Region states
  • Serve as a technical leader providing input on appropriate investigation and remediation/mitigation approaches and anticipated costs
  • Enliven company culture and support vision, mission and values
  • Support both the Partner staff and the Clients by meeting with Clients on a regular basis
  • Stay current on regulatory requirements, emerging contaminants, mitigation, and remedial technologies
  • Collaborate with ES Managing Director to grow regional operations and increase Partner's visibility as a remediation/environmental solutions consultant within the industry
  • Collaborate effectively with staff, other Regional Managers and Directors, Partner Relationship Managers and Executive Team
  • Provide mentorship/management of group personnel in
  • Participate in and sometimes lead recruiting efforts for the Region
  • Excellent writing skills and document review capabilities for proposals, technical documents, and reports
  • Well versed in indoor air quality; well installation procedures; soil, risk assessments, soil vapor and groundwater remedial actions; project cost estimating; evaluation of technical graphics; design, installation, and operation of subslab depressurization and soil vapor extraction systems; groundwater treatment design/implementation; and other applicable expertise are a plus;
  • Litigation support, and expert witness experience a plus
  • Ability and willingness to work as a team and share/borrow resources with other regions
  • Represent the company at tradeshows and conferences, attend industryspecific networking events, and contribute to blog postings, technical papers, and other company marketing efforts

QUALIFICATIONS

  • Registration as a Professional Geologist or Professional Civil Engineer in at least one West Region state is a plus

  • Ability to manage collaboratively and invoke a positive work culture
  • Ability to effectively interact with other Managers and Directors
  • Current 40 hour HAZWOPER training a plus PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS
  • Must be able to fluently read, write, speak, and comprehend English
  • Must be able to communicate clearly in person at level commensurate with client / staff / corporate personnel
  • Required periodic travel within the United States including regular in person meetings with staff and clients in the Central Region

Compensation:

This is what we reasonably expect to pay for the role $150,000 - $180,000.

The pay scale for this role considers a wide range of factors when making compensation decisions including, but not limited to, skill sets, experience and training, licensure and certifications, and other business and organizational needs.

Please note, that the disclosed pay scale estimate has not been adjusted for the applicable geographic location where the position may be filled.
