    Manager, Supply ChainPosition DescriptionOrigis Energy is looking for a Supply Chain Planning Associate or Manager to join our Equipment Procurement Construction organization and join our growing team.

    This person will join an experienced team with the main objective of driving supply planning and logistics processes and standards across solar PV systems and components.

    The spend on major capital equipment will be at least $2+ billion over next few years and the successful candidate will help to develop and implement best-in-class planning processes to effectively maximize value in the development, construction, and operations project phases.

    The successful candidate will help to develop and implement best-in-class planning and logistics processes for Origis-controlled Logistics, as well as providing guidance and validation for in-direct logistics spending.

    Key Responsibilities Manage the supply-planning and logistics process, including working with external suppliers and a variety of internal stakeholders to consolidate a demand-supply view against our pipeline forecastDevelop strategies to drive organization of supply commits, including maintaining supply-demand views and reconciling any demand-supply disparitiesLogistics coordination amongst site leads, PMs, warehouse operators, equipment manufacturers, and 3PL freight providersMaintaining relationships with key logistics companies and assess quotes for pricing, offerings, and service-level agreementsManage warehouse requirement planning, cost optimization for vendor-managed shipments, and freight negotiation and executionMonitor, maintain and update strategic procurement deliveries, payment forecast, warehousing cost forecasts, insurance costs and Safe Harbor equipment inventory allocation.

    Define and track the metrics associated with supply planning management and logistics planning, including lead times, orders, and deliveryPreferred QualificationsBS in STEM or MBA, or extensive experience in supply chain operationsMinimum of three (3) years of related experience; experience in renewable energy project development and/or the construction industry is a plusExpert level with MS Excel.

    Familiarity with SAP.Excellent oral and written communication skillsKnowledge of Solar Energy supply chains and their respective components (PV modules, inverters etc.)Strong product knowledge of logistics industry, including the transfer and warehousing of facility construction and associated components (panels, inverters, racking etc.)Familiarity with the exportation/importation of equipment/materialsExperience with a solar energy developer or solar EPC contractorExperienced in logistics analytics and using data to identify opportunities for cost savings and operational improvement.
