    Lighthouse Lab Services is working with an established reference laboratory in the Mobile, AL area in search of two blood bank technologists or technicians to join the team.

    Shifts Available:

    • Days – 8:00 am – 4:30 pm with rotating weekend
    • Nights (4/10s) - 10:00 pm - 8:30 am with rotating weekends

    Primary Responsibilities:

    • Determine the acceptability of specimens for testing according to established criteria
    • Perform routine and complex technical procedures and functions according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures
    • Monitor, operate and troubleshoot instrumentation to ensure proper functionality
    • Demonstrate the ability to make technical decisions regarding testing and problem solving.
    • Prepare, test and evaluate new reagents or controls
    • Report accurate and timely test results in order to deliver quality patient care
    • Perform and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures

    Preferred Profile:

    • Associates or bachelor's degree in Medical Technology
    • MLT(ASCP) or MLS(ASCP) certified

    Salary and Benefits:

    • $23-34/hour DoE
    • Health, Vision, Dental
    • PTO
