Innova Solutions is currently seeking a Medical Lab Scientist II / Medical Technologist II for the 1st Shift.

Position: Full Time, Contract

Duration: 06+ Months

Location: Mobile, AL 36607

As a Medical Lab Scientist II / Medical Technologist II for the 1st Shift, your responsibilities:

• Determine specimen acceptability for testing based on established criteria.
• Perform routine and complex technical procedures according to departmental Standard Operating Procedures.
• Monitor, operate, and troubleshoot instrumentation for proper functionality.
• Make technical decisions and solve testing problems.
• Prepare, test, and assess new reagents or controls.
• Report accurate and timely test results for quality patient care.
• Conduct and document preventive maintenance and quality control procedures.
• Replenish testing bench supplies as needed.
• Assist with specimen processing when required.
• Maintain a safe work environment and wear appropriate protective equipment.

Requirements:

• BS preferred, open to MLT associate degree with relevant experience.
• Blood bank experience is mandatory - Blood Bank Only.
• Vaccine requirement: None.
• Address: 5 Mobile Infirmary Cir, Mobile, AL 36607.
• Schedule: 1st shift, Mon-Fri, with rotating weekends.
• Must have Blood Bank experience and preferably Soft Bank experience.
• Must hold an associate degree or bachelor's degree in clinical laboratory science. ASCP certification is a plus.

PAY RANGE AND BENEFITS:

Pay Range: Between $38.00 to $40.00 Per Hour

*Pay range offered will consider factors like education, work experience, certifications, among others.
