As a valuable member of our Local Legal team, you will work closely with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams to support business operations and help them to achieve their goals.


Your Role:


We are currently seeking a junior corporate lawyer with 1-3 years' experience in a major law firm or financial institution to support our business.

The position of Legal Counsel will require an individual who is extremely organized, diligent and independent and possesses exceptional written and oral communication skills.

Some knowledge of, or experience with hedge funds or mutual funds would also be an asset.

  • You will be preparing and negotiating client service agreements
  • Reviewing fund formation documentation and updates to offering memoranda and subscription documentation
  • Providing legal advice to internal parties regarding potential areas of legal risk
  • Liaising with internal and external counsel for clients
  • Any other duty deemed necessary by Citco legal counsel or management for the benefit of Citco

About You:


  • Ideally 2+ years experience in a financial services firm or corporate law firm
  • Law degree and admitted to the Bar in a US State (preferably New York or PA)
  • Demonstrated proficiency in interpersonal and communication skills including oral and written English
  • Team player
