Job Summary
Central Dispatchers have an "I got this" attitude as they balance multiple tasks simultaneously and deal with constant changes in process and strategy.
Continuous improvement is vital for dispatchers as they learn about aggregate uses in construction and the unique capabilities of trucks & drivers.
Dispatchers develop and maintain an excellent sense of geography & haul routes.They have excellent time management skills, managing a fleet of 50-60 trucks, taking customer orders, and providing exceptional customer service.
They are flexible as they support multiple departments across many remote sites in the company.Who We Are

What Central Dispatchers do
- They quickly and accurately generate tickets for trucks
- They strategically dispatch trucks, ensuring all necessary information is communicated
- They identify, manage, and create new orders based on inbound calls and accepted quotes.
- They identify loaded products visually, ensuring all loads shipped contain the correct material.
- They ensure proper billing and accurate accounting in reviewing daily scale tickets.
- They work with accounting to collect and organize payments for specific customers.
- They provide communication and clerical support to sales & loading team members at all sites.
- They support the Sales Manager, creating orders & quotes, and assisting with quote followup.

Preferred Professional Experience
If you have a background in hospitality, food service, education, or event planning, you may already possess most of the transferrable skills to do this job.
Minimum Qualifications
- Math, reading, and writing skills (English at minimum, Spanish is a plus)
- Professional written and oral communication
- 2+ years in a fastpaced customer service position
- Expertise with Windows, Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Drive
- Punctual and reliable, excellent attendance required
- Maintain a clean and wellgroomed appearance
- Embrace a team environment where all members contribute to the success of the operation
- Willing to work in a multidisciplinary environment, learning and performing a variety of jobs
- Must past preemployment physical and drug screen

Physical and Mental Demands

Working Environment
Up to 100% of time spent in an office with exposure to manufacturing environments around industrial equipment. The environment will be dusty and, at times, experience loud n
