Sales Associates are required to contribute to the vast body of skills and expertise to the best of their abilities, while striving to learn more.

Treat each customer as we would a guest in your own home. Remember, without customers we would not be in business.
Job tasksGreet customers and ascertain wants or needs with the magic question. "What can I help you find today?"Describe merchandise and explain its use, operation, and care to customers.
Recommend, select, and help locate or obtain mechandise based on customer needs.
Answer questions regarding the store and its merchandise.
Maintain knowledge of current sales and promotions.
Rope/Chain/Wire/Tubing cuttingPlace special orders or call other stores to find desired items.
Gain general product knowledge of all departments.
Learn locations to better assist customers.
Ensuring safety for all customers, oneself, and coworkers.
Forwarding customer complaints/concerns/complements to the Supervisor in charge.

Glass Cutting (both Plexi and Single Strength)Key Cutting (both Chip and Regular)Paint mixingPropane filling - and all safety procedures followedForklift Driving (for those over age of 18)Maintaining inventory of assigned departments as well as others when needed.

Stock, Front, and Face department dailyCreate daily hole count sheet when appropriateClosing duties - as assignedQualificationsSkills and QualificationsBasic Computer FunctionsBasic Hardware knowledgePeople SkillsComplete assigned training as required (OJT, workshops, etc)
