- Prepare solutions, standards, and reagents to conduct analysis.
- Analyze samples for inorganic or organic compounds using various laboratory techniques including chromatography, spectroscopy, and spectrophotometry.
- Perform routine laboratory testing tasks using standard laboratory equipment such as balances, pipettes, pH meters, UV/Visible spectrophotometer, Total Organic Carbon analyzer, etc.
- Maintain accurate and complete records, including logbooks.
- Compile and analyze data to determine the operating efficiency of the instruments / equipment and to diagnose and repair any malfunctions.
- Utilize good laboratory practices and follow Alliance's Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs).
- Confer with management to conduct analyses of new methods.
- Enter or upload results into the Laboratory Information Management System (LIMS).
- Document and initiate any revisions to SOPs that are needed and submit to management.

- Associate degree or higher in a physical science preferred.
- General familiarity with laboratory safety, previous laboratory experience preferred.
- Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office programs, including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, both with internal customers and external vendors.
- Good written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to read, count, and write to accurately complete all documentation.

Alliance currently seeks to fill two position types: Laboratory Analyst and Laboratory Prep Technician. Role assignment is dependent on previous chemistry and laboratory experience.
Pay Range:
