Family Services of Westchester is looking for a 1:1 Teacher Aidefor our Prime Time program.


POSITION TITLE: 1:1 Teacher Aide


SALARY:
_$17/hour_


STATUS:
Permanent/Full Time


SUPERVISED BY:
Head Teacher


PURPOSE:

To assist and support the Head Teacher to interpret and implement the Prime-Time program to address the needs of each individual child.

WORK LOCATION:456 North Street, White Plains


ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

• Assist teacher in the documentation, reflection and planning process to implement the curriculum.
• Assist teacher in providing researchbased specialized instruction.
• Build relationships with families and communicate about children's learning and development.
• Partner with the teaching staff and administration.
• Support parents in problem solving.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS:

• CDA and High School Diploma
