Your tasks
- Design and adaptation of 12V and 48V electrical systems for Mercedes-AMG vehicles, taking into account software-based vehicle architectures
- Responsibility for electrical system components (power distributors, batteries, switches, etc., excluding wiring harness) as well as ensuring compliance with standby current limits for Mercedes-AMG vehicles
- Electrical system protection testing in hot/cold climate chambers, on test drives, and through software-based simulations to ensure all electrical LV consumers are supplied with sufficient electrical energy
- Coordination and approval of Mercedes-AMG specific coding in electrical system control software, as well as creation of specifications and requirement documents
- Project coordination and supplier management, responsibility for cost and deadline compliance, coordination with vehicle and engine wiring harness development, and close collaboration with Mercedes-PKW development
- Creation of test specifications, coordination and execution of component and system tests
- Participation in test drives in Germany and abroad
Your skills
- Completed degree in electrical engineering, electronics, or comparable education
- Extensive knowledge or several years of experience in electrical system development, as well as a strong understanding of vehicle electronics as a whole
