This position requires computer proficiency, interpersonal skills, strong sense of customer service, strong verbal and written communication skills, and the ability to speak clearly on the telephone.

PROFESSIONAL REQUIREMENTS

  • Possess a Bachelor's Degree in Geography, Geology, Environmental Science or other earth sciencerelated degree or have prior FEMA insurance or mapping experience.
  • Have 13 years of professional experience. Experience combined with education and trainings relative to the position will be considered.
  • Must be a US Citizen and be able to obtain a Public Trust Clearance.

Preferred:

Certified Floodplain Management (CFM) and Associate in National Flood Insurance (ANFI) certifications.
Spanish-language proficiency.


Pay:
$ $20.00 per hour
