LABORATORY ASSISTANT
The schedule for this position will be Monday - Friday (8:30am - 5pm) and occasional Saturday as needed.
Job Duties/Responsibilities:
- Receiving and processing samples.
- Preparing test samples using laboratory equipment including urine and body fluids
- Performing laboratory testing and preparing and maintaining accurate lab records
- Labeling specimens and distributing them to appropriate departments
- Performing quality control as directed by the Laboratory Manager
- Cleaning and maintaining the work area as well as all lab equipment and supplies
Requirements:
- Must have minimum of high school degree or equivalent.
- Associate's or bachelor's degree in a science field like chemistry, biology or biotechnology
or a minimum of 2 years of experience in clinical laboratory preferred - Knowledge of Microsoft windows and office
- Excellent attention to detail
- Excellent teamwork skills
- Experience working with lab equipment
- Ability to keep detailed records
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour

Experience:
Lab Aide: 2 years (preferred)
