Position Summary:

Responsible for conducting sterilization procedures in accordance with organizational policy in order to ensure patient and physician safety and regulatory compliance.

Conducts tests of medical instruments to check functionality and performs mínimal maintenance of medical instrumentation as necessary to ensure reliability and availability of essential equipment.

Maintains records of sterilization processes in accordance with established guidelines allowing for proper compliance and accountability.

Required Qualifications:


  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Current and valid Certified Registered Central Service Technician (CRCST) preferred, or completion of Certification within 1 year in position.
  • Prior medical environment work experience preferred.
  • Demonstrated ability to relate to diverse cultures and specifically the Gila River Community and/or other Native American cultures.
