    Description

    A quickly growing biotechnology company is looking for Senior Research Associate to support research projects contributing to the development of novel gene and cell therapy products.

    This position offers a very challenging and rewarding work environment, within a thriving company.


    Responsibilities:
    Support development of novel gene therapy platform through designing, executing and analyzing various experiments
    Generate custom screening libraries and assist in the execution of high throughput screens for a variety of phenotypes.
    Plan and execute bulk and single cell genomics assays through cellular differentiation
    Work collaboratively with other Research Associates and Scientists as part of larger projects
    Maintain proper lab documentation, equipment and reagents

    Requirements:
    BS with 4+ years of experience OR MS with 2+ years of experience in Molecular Biology, Genomics, Biotechnology, Synthetic Biology or a related field
    Hands on experience with bulk and single cell genomic profiling experiments (RNA-seq, ATAC-seq, etc.)
    Experience with iPSC differentation
    Experience with high throughput screening techniques highly preferred.
    Experience or familiarity with genomic data analysis highly preferred.
    Team oriented approach with the ability to work cross functionally
    Strong attention to detail and excellent communication skills
