SUMMARY:

We are looking for a Controller with Automotive Experience. The controller will handle high-level accounting, managerial accounting, and oversee financial activities of the dealership.

As head of the accounting department, the controller will manage and supervise all aspects of accounting from payroll to tax compliance.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES:

Overseeing all matters related to accounting including the monthend close, and preparation of monthly financial reporting
Establish and maintain internal controls and related processes
Ensures compliance with federal, state and local government requirements and tax filings
Develop, implement, and maintain financial controls and guidelines
Achieve budgeting goals with proper scheduling, analysis, and corrective action
Help develop and support short and longterm operational strategies
Maintain a documented system of accounting policies and procedures
Oversee the operations of the accounting department, including the design of an organizational structure adequate for achieving the department's goals and objectives
Implement, document and maintain adequate and effective processes to improve the close and reporting cycles to ensure timely and adequate reporting

SCHEDULE:

8hour shift
Monday-Friday
