Full-Time, 2-3 years of Dental Experience Required, Dentrix Experience Preferred

Summary:
Coordinates the operations of patient care by performing the following duties.

Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to:
Reviews and maintains the doctors schedule to ensure production goals are met.

Verifies insurance coverage on new patients, re-verifies patient insurance each visit and explains insurance reimbursement protocol in laymen's terms.

Explain doctor procedures in laymen's terms and coordinates patient treatment as needed.


Discusses fees, finances, and payment options according to the Financial Policy of the practice to gain commitment to start treatment.

Prepare written treatment plans with specific arrangements noted and collect co-payments.

Contact patients with unscheduled treatment following the Reactivation Policy of the practice.

Assist in answering phones.

Non-Essential Tasks include the following but are not limited to:
Review cases with the doctor.

Identify unscheduled patients and family members with pending treatment and remaining insurance funds.

Other duties may be assigned.


Qualifications:

Education/Experience:


High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one-year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

2-3 years' experience in a Dental Office required. Dentrix experience preferred.
