    Solution Architect Reports to: DOC-BIS

    OnPoint specializes in delivering solutions in Cybersecurity, Enterprise Systems & Implementation Management, Cloud Architecture & Infrastructure Services, and Digital Communications & Strategic Marketing.

    JOB DESCRIPTION

    Summary/Objective Provide Cloud architecture, Cloud Administration, Network Engineering, to enhance and modernize Client's IT ecosystem based on CIO office requirements.

    Essential Functions


    • Experience with rationalizing and implementing cloud solutions for Federal Government.
    • Working knowledge of the Federal Enterprise Architecture.
    • Experience with Microsoft Azure Government, including Entra ID
    • Experience with legacy Microsoft Windows domain-based networks
    • Experience with Zscaler Internet Access and Zscaler Private Access
    • Experience with Cloud modernization strategies and execution in the Federal Government; and Experience working with stakeholders at all levels in a Federal Agency. The staff will be required to interact with various contractor and stakeholders to evaluate and implement solutions.
    • Experience in driving modernization and change while continuing to support current mission workloads
    • Work with multiple stakeholders including a tier 1 service desk, other tier 2 disciplines, and act as a tier 3 resolution resource
    • Understand and drive cost management, ITSM structure, and quality assurance. Required Education and Experience
    • Degree from an accredited university (Bachelor's)
    • 10+ years experience

    Cloud architecture experience:
    Snowflake, Azure Databricks


    • Azure AD/B2C, Dynamics, Power Platform, etc.) and maybe also include analyses on other platforms, such as Appian and ServiceNow.
    • Virtual Machine (VM) experience.
    • Active Directory Services Federation (SAML, OAuth), Zscalar.
    • Virtual Desktop Infrastructure (VDI), built on Azure Virtual Desktop
    • Leverage and extend the BIS Intune, BigFix, and other support infrastructure as necessary
    • UI/UX/CS improvement program experience
    • Microsoft Purview for collaboration.
    • Operations and maintenance experience of IT systems
    • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Access, PowerPoint, and Outlook) Microsoft Teams, and Adobe Acrobat software
    • Experience working with and organizing projects in Atlassian Jira and Confluence. Competencies

    This position has no supervisory responsibilities. Work Environment

    OnPoint exercises a hybrid work environment, meaning that some work can be done remotely, while other work needs to be completed on-premise.
