OverviewRising Star Resource Development Corporation (Rising Star) is a private nonprofit 501(c)(3) Community Rehabilitation Program (CRP) employer. We provide rehabilitation services and employment to individuals with disabilities, veterans and individuals with barriers to employment.
Job Skills / RequirementsPerforms basic custodial services. Work involves coordinating the cleaning and sanitation of federal building. May train others. Works under limited supervision, with considerable latitude for the use of initiative and independent judgment. Background clearance required.

Essential Functions:

The qualified candidate should be outgoing, energetic, and motivated with at least one (1) year of custodian services Maintain cleanliness of all office, restrooms and laboratories dailyMaintains floors; sweep, mop, scrubbing and Hi-Speeding as requiredRegular and punctual attendanceCoordinates and performs general custodial functions such as sweeping, mopping, dusting, cleaning windows and light fixturesRestroom cleaning and disinfect, replenishment of paper supplies and soap and sweeping and mopping nightlyPerforms minor maintenance and repair work on custodial equipmentInspects areas for quality assurance per Custodial Log BookCleans office furniture, walls, windows, water faucets and floors of stains and finger printsOperates floor maintenance equipment, buffers, stripper, backpack vacuum and mop ringerAbility to deal effectively with the publicMaintains inventory records of equipment and supplies as well as reorder requestReliable Transportation PreferredMay train others and Performs related work as assigned.

This position is once a week Fri, Sat, or Sun only 8:30am - 11:30am.

The following describes the overall strength demand of the functions performed by the incumbent during a typical workday.

Light to medium lifting Machines, Tools, Equipment and Work Aids:
The essential functions of this position require the use of cleaning supplies such as: mop, cleaning chemicals, vacuum and possibly a buffer

Environmental Factors:
The essential functions of this position are performed indoors in 70-80 degrees. Potential exists for lifting up to 30 pounds.

Compensation :
This will be an hourly position. See below for wage range. Hourly wage is $15.00 plus health and welfare benefit of $4.27. = $19.
