    SUMMARY OF THE ROLE:

    The Operations Improvement and Reorganization (OIR) Technical Lead will collaborate with internal teams including Business Analysts, Software Engineers, and IT professionals to assess technical requirements, analyze deliverables, and create detailed technical documentation.

    RESPONSIBILITIES:

    • Collaborating with the software engineering team throughout the project life cycle
      • Creating and managing work schedules/tasks using Jira system.
      • Coordinating with the software development team to address technical issues
    • Providing technical guidance during project planning and execution with the Software Engineers
      • Offering technical direction.
      • Conducting Code Reviews
    • Developing and revising Technical Functional/Design documents.
    • Training software engineers on coding and design best practices.
    • Working closely with team members to ensure project deadlines are met.
    • Establishing milestones and assigning tasks via Jira for the Software Engineers
    • Exhibiting behaviors that align with the organization's culture and values.

    QUALIFICATION REQUIREMENTS:

    Preferred Knowledge, Experience, and Skills:

    • Bachelor's degree in engineering, Computer Science, or a related field
    • Desirable certification in Project Management Professional
    • Over 5 years of experience as a Software Engineer, Software Developer, or similar position in Software Development
    • Experience with SQL Queries in Oracle, Microsoft SQL, and/or PostgreSQL Databases for over 3 years
    • Experience working with Gitlab or GitHub for code review
    • Proficiency in programming languages like Python
    • Familiarity with Jira ticketing
    • Experience with Agile and Scrum methodologies
    • Proficient in LINUX/UNIX environment and shell scripting
    • Strong analytical and debugging capabilities
    • Effective written and verbal communication skills
    • Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects simultaneously
    • Strong Leadership and interpersonal skills
    • Background in Financial Industry or Fintech is advantageous
