Simple Science is looking for someone to lead and develop the Attendee Experience (Registration) Team to provide exceptional service to both attendees and internal stakeholders.

You embrace a forward-thinking approach and will continue to innovate the registration process and user experience.


Over the last five years Simple Science has developed our own registration platform as well as a mobile app product for our clients.

This role will be the intermediary between the digital build of websites/registration and the Events team.

The ability to travel and work occasional evenings and weekends as needed for client events is essential.


Responsibilities

  • Lead a team to create the registration experience for large scale conferences, intimate executive summits, sales meetings, incentive trips, product launches, trainings that are personalized and engaging.
  • Work with a team of digital, content, and communications to execute the attendee experience, pre, during and post event.
  • Drive continuous improvement, and innovation of the attendee experience and Simple.
Events

  • Assist with all aspects of the room block, including but not limited to pre/post extensions, additional rooms, and room list accuracy
  • Communicate rooming details directly to hotel
  • Work with Project Managers on participant special requests and restrictions
  • Quality check data, reports, and website designs
  • Routinely research industry trends and best practices in event registration.
  • Onsite assistance (travel required) domestic & international
  • Postevent evaluation (including data entry and analysis and producing reports for event stakeholders).

Requirements:


  • Experience preparing project plans with detail by obtaining historical information related to the program.
  • Responsible for group reporting requirements. Ensures adherence to standard or client specific deposit terms, terms and conditions of client contract, and billing guidelines.
  • Ability to manage concurrent projects, varying in scope and size, with medium to high complexity and risk.
  • Detailed oriented, a must.
  • Strong project management skills. Wellorganized and excellent time management skills. Demonstrates the ability to organize and prioritize workload.
  • Excellent writing, communication, decisionmaking, presentation, human relations and organizational skills.
  • Customer service and interpersonal skills are critical.
  • Ability to remain calm and poised in stressful situations with the ability to think outside the box to resolve problems in a timely manner.
  • Ability to set priorities and multitask in a fastpaced, multiproject environment. Ability to successfully work and promote inclusiveness in all size groups helping lead teams towards a common goal
  • Team player with cando, helpful attitude. Always looking for ways to go above and beyond.
  • Knowledge of Apple products, Mac OS and Microsoft Office products (Excel, PowerPoint, Word).
  • Experience with creating and using Google docs/sheets/slides essential
  • Travel industry knowledge.
  • Agency experience desired.
  • Ability to travel up to 30% of the time, both domestic & international travel.

Pay:
$80, $100,000.00 per year
