OVERVIEWOur Consignments Team is the primary conduit through which we source products to stock our Entertainment Memorabilia Live Auctions and Poster auctions. Our departmental responsibilities are 1) helping consignors realize the highest profit for their content and 2) curating the highest quality content to offer potential buyers. In fulfilling these responsibilities, we help ensure the business's financial viability and maintain the trustworthiness of our brand.


Our
Consignments Customer Service Assistant performs clerical, customer service, and research duties within the scope of the Consignments Department's responsibilities.

This position reports to the Consignments Sourcing Manager.

This position may interface with any employee in the company as well as with external customers on a limited basis.


LOCATIONThis office-based position requires daily reporting to our warehouse in Valencia, CA.


POSITIONThis is a non-exempt, full-time position.


RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES

CORE RESPONSIBILITY:

Responsive-Consignor Communication:


  • Collate and provide firstpass research for potential content from consignors, assessing the potential value and making recommendations for auction estimates and reserves.
  • Communicates adequately and proactively with consignors throughout the consignment life cycle.
  • Participate in consignor outreach efforts.

  • Respond with a positive attitude to shifting needs within the company that may require you to perform temporarily in areas outside of your normal workflow/duties. This is a critical expectation.

  • Develop and demonstrate strong knowledge of film, pop culture, the collectibles market, and collectible content, including market values
  • Perform additional tasks and duties outside primary departmental responsibilities as needed.

Pay:
From $25.00 per hour

Expected hours: 40 per week
