- Provide information and assistance to patients regarding testing procedures.
- Address patient inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally.
- Utilize QuickBooks Online for general bookkeeping tasks, including recording financial transactions, managing accounts payable and receivable.
- Generate invoices within QuickBooks Online.
- Maintain organized and up-to-date financial records, ensuring compliance with accounting standards and regulations.
- Adhere to all relevant safety protocols and procedures.
- Ensure compliance with privacy regulations and maintain confidentiality of patient information.
- Follow established guidelines for sample collection and handling.
- Bachelor's Degree: A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field such as healthcare administration, business administration, public health, or a related field is highly preferred. A degree demonstrates a strong foundation in relevant knowledge areas and critical thinking skills necessary for the role.
- Must be willing to complete, or have completed, the Specimen Collector Training: Candidates must have successfully completed, or be willing to complete, training in specimen collection procedures from a recognized training program or institution. This training ensures that candidates are familiar with industry-standard protocols for collecting specimens, maintaining chain of custody, and adhering to privacy regulations. Certification or documentation of completion may be required.
