We're recruiting for an experienced Field Construction Technician to be part of our team providing high-quality Tuff Shed products at our Houston location.

DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES TO BE A SUCCESSFUL FIELD CONSTRUCTION TECHNICIAN AT TUFF SHED?

Performs repair work on our storage buildings at customer's site while delivering EXCELLENT customer service to our Tuff Shed customers
Delivers Tuff Shed storage buildings to our customers and other locations, as directed
Determines whether customer concerns are covered warranty issues that can be resolved
Regular inspections of vehicle before and after trip, logging pre and post trip inspections; keep management informed of service/maintenance
Independent multitasker with a history of onthejob reliability
Great customer service You're representing Tuff Shed's brand and product to customers
Pride in having a proven safe driving record and accomplishments while operating Flat Bed Trucks, Box Trucks and/or Towing Trailers
Building relationships with our Installer Crews
Ability to work a flexible schedule
Keen eye for details, whether following shipping instructions or completing warranty repairs
Experience working as a team to accomplish goals and projects able to be a contributor to do whatever it take to get the job done

SKILLS & EXPERIENCE

Basic construction including painting, leveling, roofing/reroofing, window installation/replacement & 2x4 framing/rework
Ability to read tape measure, reading blueprint drawings, and speed square
Ability to operate air compressors, air tools, hammer, saw, drill and other basic power tools
Customer service and problem solving skills
Ability to drive Flat Bed Trucks, Box Trucks and/or Towing Trailers and safely and efficiently load, unload and transport materials and product
Experience as a 'Big Box' delivery driver is definitely a plus
Ability to conduct Vehicle Inspections and complete required logs
Reliable, ontime, and dependable
Current valid driver's license and a satisfactory Motor Vehicle Report
