Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled and detail-oriented Project Accountant to join our team.

The Project Accountant will be responsible for overseeing the financial aspects of our projects, ensuring accuracy and compliance with accounting principles.

This role requires strong analytical skills, knowledge of financial concepts, and the ability to work independently.


Duties:

• Prepare and review financial reports
• Monitor project expenses and ensure adherence to guidelines
• Perform cost analysis and identify areas for cost savings
• Collaborate with project managers to track project progress and financial performance
• Prepare invoices, bill payment along with monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
• Assist in the preparation of tax returns and ensure compliance with tax regulations
• Conduct research on accounting standards and implement changes as necessary
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions and reconcile accounts
• Utilize accounting software such asQuickBooks to manage financial data

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance
• Strong knowledge of GAAP (Generally Accepted Accounting Principles)
• Excellent analytical skills with a keen attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines
• Demonstrated ability to handle multiple assignments and deadlines
• Knowledge of portals for monthly sales tax

$80, $100,000.00 per year
