Nation's Home Medical Equipment is growing its Complex Rehab Department and is seeking full-time Service Technician, who is responsible for the delivery, pick-up, repair/maintenance, and servicing of complex rehab equipment.
This position is on-site at our Owings Mills, MD office and involves a large amount of travel throughout Maryland, DC, and Northern Virginia.
Duties include:
- Evaluating, delivering, repairing, assembling, and modifying rehabilitation equipment in Baltimore, Washington DC, and Northern Virginia.
- Driving a companyowned vehicle and maintain timely routes
- Entering medical data into the company's EMR system
- Documenting accurate insurance information from patients
- Delivering excellent customer service
- Maintaining/reporting inventory and keeping the warehouse organized
- Working with a team to coordinate patient service and business needs
- Communicating effectively with coworkers, customers, caregivers, and vendors through various means, including verbally, in writing, and electronically.
Working Conditions:
- In the warehouse/office 60%, in the field/on the road 40%
- Frequent sitting, standing, climbing, crouching, squatting, kneeling, balancing, reaching, pulling/pushing, and lifting.
- Employees may occasionally be exposed to bodily fluids, blood, and tissue.
Qualifications/Requirements:
- Active driver's license with a clean record for at least 3 years
- At least 1 year of DME, equipment maintenance, or equivalent professional experience
- At least 1 year of customer service experience
- High School Diploma or equivalent required
- Ability to read and follow geographical directions
- Ability to regularly use handtools
- Working knowledge of electrical troubleshooting
Pay:
$ $23.00 per hour
