    Overview

    The BOYNE Golf Content Marketing Specialist creates and manages content that pertains to social, web, print, and display advertising.

    As a member of the golf marketing team, will work with team members to develop and implement a social media plan that supports the unique brand while actively engaging consumers and driving revenue across all segments of the resorts.

    This full-time, seasonal position (May-August/October) offers part-time year-round opportunities as well. College students looking for internships are also welcome to apply for this seasonal position.

    We are a team of passionate and dedicated individuals communicating the unique experiences available on our courses and at our resorts.

    Responsibilities

    Create, edit, and publish content to social media including

    Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube, and LinkedIn
    Cultivate the online relationship with our customers and ensure all consumer comments/requests on social channels are responded to/handled in a timely manner
    Assist creating scripts, shot lists and creative vision of video edits and photo shoots based on campaign objectives.

    Shoot photo and video images, including drone photography of resort and activities daily for use in social media and other resort marketing content.

    Assemble raw material into a finished product which meets objectives. Short clips seconds) may be required the same day as the shoot
    Represent resort's unique brand in all content marketing related efforts and assist in maintaining a consistent image for BOYNE Golf and our resorts brochures, resort TV channels, signage, and guides
    Report social media metrics; research and share key social media trends and emerging channels
    Use Web analytics to maximize social traffic to home website
    Leverage consumer research to promote and optimize content that resonates with our audience
    Responsible for understanding the competitive landscape, consumer target mindset, and business needs to inform relevant social strategy and execution

    Qualifications

    College study in graphic arts, communications, or digital marketing preferred, but will consider equivalent combination of education and experience for the right person
    Proven photography and videography experience.

    Ability and license to fly a drone is preferred to start, but will be required to maintain the position by June 15.

    Ability to work independently with a moderate amount of supervision.
    Passionate about golf and outdoor industry.

    Enjoys the sport of golf personally, but a low handicap is NOT a requirement
    Positive attitude with willingness to learn new skills
    Knowledgeable of social media platforms and social analytics
    Experience with Adobe Creative Suite, Web Content Management systems, Microsoft Office, and blogging platforms
    Superior writing and editing skills with a proven ability to create unique and compelling copy
    Creative and innovative thinker with the ability to take complex topics and distill into unique, data-driven and actionable content
    Understanding of SEO, content categorization and structure, content development, distribution and measurement
    Detail oriented, organized, and able to manage multiple projects, plans, and deliverables
    Thrives in fast-paced, ever changing, highly productive, and collaborative environment
    Ability to work flexible schedule, including weekends, including travel to sponsored events and tournaments
