    Assurance Lead � Customer Service Centre � Role Overview

    The Customer Service Centre (CSC) sits at the heart of our operations here in the Valuation Office Agency. The CSC is the first point of contact for our customers, and you will play a crucial role supporting our colleagues to uphold the agency�s reputation.

    We are looking for enthusiastic, forward-thinking people to join our expanding team and who are open to learn new skills and development opportunities. Reporting to the CSC Business Manager, as an Assurance Lead you will undertake a wide variety of duties providing practical support and assistance to the Business Manager, Unit Head and wider management team.

    Assurance Lead � Customer Service Centre� Key responsibilities

  • Proactively managing and prioritising the Assurance Team & Unit Head�s inbox items, responding to correspondence and queries.
  • Diary management support for Unit Head, and attend relevant meetings with the Unit Head, taking notes/minutes where appropriate and ensuring action points are followed up.
  • You will lead on your own assurance tasks, building a wider understanding and knowledge base of all assurance tasks to provide cover and support as required.
  • Secretariat support for CSC Meetings, where you will build and circulate agendas, drive presentations, create and circulate meeting notes, maintain action logs, and provide updates.
  • Provide financial management support and cover across the Business Support Team, and wider CSC by arranging travel bookings, and managing Senior Leadership Team travel approvals.
  • Monitor, maintain and manage all relevant registers and documents, ensuring these are updated accordingly with the most accurate information within a timely manner and, ensuring the guidance and processes are followed.

    The successful candidate will be working in an exciting, fast-paced and dynamic environment. The high-profile role has many aspects that require resilience and adaptability and will allow you to develop a detailed understanding of the business area. You�ll need to be able to work autonomously, regularly using your own judgement and collaborating with others to ensure tasks are complete. You need to act professionally, and with diplomacy and maintain strict confidentiality when privy to sensitive issues.

  • Be adaptable and organised to work across a variety of different tasks; and to have a wide awareness of impacts, dependencies, and risks.
  • Excellent IT skills, especially competent in the use of Microsoft Outlook & Excel, and other Microsoft applications.
