- Emergency Management Major
- Ability to maintain strict confidentiality.
- Ability to use office telephone, including answering calls, initiating calls, transferring calls, placing calls on hold and taking messages.
- Ability to use department copier/printer/scanner.
- Good communication skills.
- Previous experience working in an office setting
- Customer service skills
- Computer skills (Proficiency in Microsoft word, Excel, etc.)
- Student Office Assistants support the day-to-day operations and work independently and/or as a team to accomplish the overall mission and goals of the office.
- May make deliveries around campus, dropping off and picking up materials to and from other departments.
- Copy, print and scan documents when necessary.
- Perform specific duties and provide assistance when requested.
- Answering telephone calls, transferring them, and/or taking messages.
- Be able to sit and use a computer for the length of shift
- Be able to make deliveries & pickups on campus
- Be able to use department photocopier
