    Job Description

    This is a 200+ bed, acute care facility. This hospital is one the nation's 50 Top Cardiovascular Hospitals and holds an 'A' Grade from Leapfrog Group. Additionally, this hospital is Joint Commission Certified for Stroke, Hip/Knee, and Diabetes. They are a Five Star recipient for treatment of heart failure, respiratory failure, and are named among the top 5% in the nation for patient safety.


    Responsibilities

    • Directs all human resources of the department; overseeing training and ensures staff competencies, ensures safe staffing levels
    • Develops and manages budget to meet department, organizational and patient safety goals
    • Responds to the needs of the department by performing radiology technician duties

    Qualifications

    • Associates degree; graduate of an AMA accredited program in radiologic technology. Bachelor's degree, preferred
    • Training in CT or MRI preferred
    • Current state licensed CRT, Fluoroscopy permit by CDPH and ARRT-R
    • BLS/BCLS (AHA) certification
    • Supervisory experience in all medical imaging function
    • Previous experience as a radiology technologist/Nuclear Medicine
