As a Service Writer at Acura of Valley Stream / Honda of Valley Stream, you will be responsible for coordinating service appointments, communicating with customers regarding their vehicle maintenance needs, and ensuring a smooth service process from start to finish.

You will serve as the liaison between customers and our service technicians, providing accurate information and exceptional service throughout.


Responsibilities:


  • Greet customers warmly and assist them in scheduling service appointments based on their vehicle needs and availability.
  • Communicate with customers to understand their vehicle maintenance requirements and provide accurate estimates of service costs and timelines.
  • Coordinate with service technicians to ensure timely completion of repairs and maintenance tasks.
  • Provide regular updates to customers regarding the status of their vehicle service and any additional recommendations from the technicians.
  • Address customer inquiries and concerns promptly and professionally, striving to exceed their expectations at every interaction.
  • Maintain detailed records of service appointments, repairs, and customer interactions in the dealership's database.
  • Collaborate with other service department staff to optimize workflow and ensure efficient service operations.

Requirements:


  • Previous experience in automotive service writing or customer service roles is preferred.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a customerfocused approach.
  • Strong organizational and time management abilities to effectively prioritize tasks and manage multiple responsibilities.
  • Knowledge of automotive terminology and service processes is advantageous.
  • Proficiency in using computer software and dealership management systems.
  • Flexibility to work weekends and evenings as needed.

Pay:
$60, $100,000.00 per year
