Overview:
Responsibilities:
- Prepare and serve beverages, including alcoholic drinks, to customers following standard recipes
- Interact with customers, take orders, and provide recommendations when necessary
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the bar area
- Check customers' identification to ensure they meet the legal drinking age
- Handle cash transactions and operate the cash register
- Upsell additional products when appropriate
- Monitor and maintain inventory levels
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in bartending or a related role
- Knowledge of various drink recipes and mixology techniques
- Familiarity with Aloha POS or similar pointofsale systems
- Understanding of food safety regulations
- Strong sales skills to promote drinks and menu items
- Ability to work in a fastpaced environment and handle highstress situations
- Experience with catering, banquets, or event bartending is a plus
- Proficiency in food handling and knowledge of retail math
- Brewing knowledge is desirable
