Operations Coordinator
This is a full-time position located in Stevensville, MD. Remote work is not approved for this position. Please note that relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities & Duties

  • Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse and process inbound shipments.
  • Ensure inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quantity and quality variances, and verify items received match with purchase orders.
  • Perform inventory cycle counts.
  • Resolve problems concerning supplier or customer issues.
  • Communicate production and delivery dates with customers.
  • Process customer purchase orders in SAP.
  • Perform daily credit checks and report results to the Operations staff.
  • Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, and specific internal or customized reports.
  • Electronic filing of hard copy documents and history records.
  • Crosstrain on other functions within the Operations department.
  • Special projects as assigned.

Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications

  • Minimum twoyear college degree. Four years of experience can be substituted for a degree.
  • Minimum 2 years experience in the distribution industry, transportation, order processing, or scheduling.
  • Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, and customers in both oral and written form.
  • Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work personally including developing specific goals and plans to accomplish tasks.
  • Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate with others including handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving conflicts.
  • PC operation to a high level including the ability to learn various customer systems. Experience with Excel is required.
  • Experience with the SAP system is strongly preferred.
  • Organized and detail oriented.
  • Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.

Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
