This is a full-time position located in Stevensville, MD. Remote work is not approved for this position. Please note that relocation assistance is not available.

Responsibilities & Duties
- Coordinate deliveries with the warehouse and process inbound shipments.
- Ensure inbound shipments are accurate and free of damage. Report quantity and quality variances, and verify items received match with purchase orders.
- Perform inventory cycle counts.
- Resolve problems concerning supplier or customer issues.
- Communicate production and delivery dates with customers.
- Process customer purchase orders in SAP.
- Perform daily credit checks and report results to the Operations staff.
- Maintain metrics, reports, process documentation, and specific internal or customized reports.
- Electronic filing of hard copy documents and history records.
- Crosstrain on other functions within the Operations department.
- Special projects as assigned.
Required Skills/Licenses/Certifications
- Minimum twoyear college degree. Four years of experience can be substituted for a degree.
- Minimum 2 years experience in the distribution industry, transportation, order processing, or scheduling.
- Ability to communicate effectively with supervisors, peers, subordinates, and customers in both oral and written form.
- Ability to organize, plan, and prioritize work personally including developing specific goals and plans to accomplish tasks.
- Ability to resolve conflicts and negotiate with others including handling complaints, settling disputes, and resolving conflicts.
- PC operation to a high level including the ability to learn various customer systems. Experience with Excel is required.
- Experience with the SAP system is strongly preferred.
- Organized and detail oriented.
- Manage time effectively and adapt quickly to changing priorities.
Pay:
$50, $65,000.00 per year
