    Maintenance Worker (Parking Division)

    The Baltimore County Revenue Authority is seeking a Full Time Maintenance Worker for its Parking Division to work Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-2:30 PM and must be available for occasional weekend work.

    Position Summary:

    The Maintenance Worker performs maintenance service and repairs in various parking facilities, including lots and multi-level parking garages, corporate offices and other public facilities.

    Essential Functions / Responsibilities:

    • Performs janitorial maintenance and light repairs in all locations
    • Projects may include painting, light carpentry and repair/maintenance of parking equipment
    • Under general supervision, may assist with automotive, electrical and plumbing repairs
    • Performs maintenance of landscape to include cutting the grass, snow removal, etc
    • Performs other duties as assigned

    Required Education and Experience:

    • High School Diploma or equivalent
    • Be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug test
    • A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
    • Previous Maintenance experience
    • Ability to work independently with limited supervision
    • Mechanical aptitude
    • The ability to respond courteously and professionally at all times
    • The ability to regularly stand, walk, sit, drive, bend, kneel, reach, work on ladders and occasionally lift up to 50 lbs
    • Be able to work both indoors and outdoors in all weather conditions
    • Familiarity with minor automotive, electrical and plumbing repairs
