- Develop, own and execute the project development strategy and tactics for C&I rooftop markets
- Lead C&I development activities from site acquisition to construction
- Identify development prospects, including market assessments, fatal flaw identification and initial site reconnaissance
- Secure site control for development prospects, including negotiating leases, easements and other agreements with landowners
- Coordinate landowner communication efforts
- Take a lead role in obtaining certain local and/or state permits
- Represent Reactivate with customers, landowners, state and local officials and other stakeholders
- Initiate and manage generation interconnection activities
- Manage tasks according to budgets and schedules, including coordinating internal and external technical support
- A Bachelor's Degree from an accredited college program, or equivalent work experience
- 4 to 8 years of experience in energy project development, with a strong preference for distributed/C&I solar and storage experience
- Familiarity with solar project development, real estate development, transmission and power project engineering are advantageous.
- Ability to synthesize complex risks and opportunities into succinct and actionable directions
- Ability to manage the development and strategic process for solar energy projects
- Strong organizational, networking, leadership, time management, and accounting skills
- Strong public speaking and personal skills
- Strong alignment with Reactivate's mission and impact goals
