They are seeking an experienced BAS/DDC Service Technician to join their team.

Primary responsibilities include program modifications, preventative maintenance, and emergency service for building automation systems.

You may also assist with the development of project scopes in coordination with the sales team and the management of those building automation projects.

You will maintain detailed records according to company standards relating to programming, maintenance, and service of the clients' building automation management systems.

Knowledge of Tridium or Automated Logic products is strongly preferred.


This position is hybrid, but requires going to the same customer site multiple times a week. V
ehicle
allowance will be provided.**Compensation commensurate with experience, up to $60.

Basic Qualifications:


  • Experience implementing software code and managing all aspects of the software code delivery and servicing commercial Building Automation Systems (BAS).
  • Ability to modify programs and make corrections to systems to ensure proper functioning.
  • Capable of performing network troubleshooting, database troubleshooting and repair programming.
  • Should be proficient with BACnet, Lon and Modbus with BAS integration experience.
  • The ability to work independently, as well as on a project team.
  • Set up and troubleshoot new site workstations and networks when necessary.

Requirements:


  • Associate degree in electronics, mechanical systems, computer technology, air conditioning or similar field desired.
  • Degree may be offset by five years of experience in servicing electronic and/ or mechanical systems. Three to five years of increasingly responsible experience in servicing electronic control and HVAC equipment.
  • Ability to act independently and to coordinate the work of others on a job site. Effective interpersonal skills to represent the company to customers and other outside contacts.
  • Ability to explain technical information to nontechnical people.
  • PC experience required, as well as strong knowledge of the full suite of Microsoft office.
