Description

Engineer (m/f/d) – Diploma, Bachelor or Master, specialization in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Mechanical Engineering, Fire Protection, Building Services Engineering, Safety Engineering, Civil Engineering or a comparable field

for our Technical Inspection Department, Product Management Division in Cologne as soon as possible and in full-time as a Test Engineer (m/f/d).

This is what you are passionate about:

Accompanying and evaluating effectiveness tests/fire tests for fire fighting systems (focus: water mist, sprinkler and foam)
Support in planning and supervision of certification procedures for protection concepts and approvals
Collaboration in projects of the "Technical Inspection Department"
Support in tasks, especially in the product groups sprinkler, water mist and foam
Speaker activities at the VdS training center and external events

This is the equipment you bring with you:

Completed engineering degree in one of the above-mentioned fields
Several years of experience in the field of technical fire protection desirable
Fire department training (F-II incl. breathing apparatus training) and fitness according to G 26.3 desirable
Experience with MS Office
Excellent communication skills
