- Maintain cleanliness of designated work area and guest areas throughout shift.
- Greet the guest in a friendly and courteous manner and explain any specials and/or restaurant promotions for guest awareness.
- Maintain positive interaction with guest.
- Work as a team player and assist co-workers as needed.
- Supplement the bus help in clearing and resetting tables. Always pre-bus main course dishes before guest leaves the table.
- Maintain proper and adequate set-up of the bar on a daily basis including paper products, straws, stirrers, condiments, and produce, based on Banquet Event Orders (BEO's). Check par level of beer, wine and spirits.
- Responsible for maintaining stock, cutting and storing of all fresh fruit and vegetable garnishes, juices and other perishables daily to ensure product quality.
- Greet guests in a courteous and friendly manner and promote and documents orders for drinks. Mix, garnish, and present drinks using standard ingredient recipes and practicing prudent portion control.
- Must adhere to all State, Federal, and Corporate liquor regulations pertaining to serving alcoholic beverages to minors and intoxicated guests to ensure all laws are being followed.
- Perform all assigned side work to include replenishing condiments and restocking service areas.
- Ability to comprehend English in order to receive instructions from managers and guests.
- Ability to respond quickly and accurately to guest requests.
- Ability to handle multiple tasks quickly and efficiently.
- Ability to lift 30 lbs. with or without a reasonable accommodation.
- Prior restaurant and/or banquet experience preferred.
