Yard Support (Shipping Department)

First Shift

Watertown, WI

Responsibilities:

Movement of all semitrailers within Watertown operations grounds (to and from the yard and plant docks for receiving, shipping and trucking)
Responsible for completion of daily washing of tractors and trailers as needed
Responsible for general trailer operations (fueling, unloading, temperature checks, etc.)
Other responsibilities including (e.g. yard security checks, assist in shipping, receiving, trucking functions, assist in shipping to help with day to day tasks when not being utilized in the yard etc.)
Accurately maintain all paperwork associated with this position
General trailer upkeep

Education:

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred

Experience:

Experience working in a shipping/warehouse environment utilizing PIVs
Ability to obtain forklift certification and maintain a good safety record
SAP experience preferred but not required
Be able to use the following computer systems: MS Office Products (Word, Excel, Access, SAP) and Lotus Notes
CDL Driver License preferred

Skills and Competencies:

Ability to succeed in a teamoriented environment
Desire to satisfy customers by providing Exceptional Customer Service
Communication skills / radio communication very important

Physical Demands:

Must be willing to work in very cold working conditions inside pulling product (our freezer gets as cold as 20°F) and outside in varying temperatures
Must be able to lift and hand grip up to 40 lbs, carry 10 lbs, and pull 20 lbs
Walking and/or Standing throughout the shift
Bending and/or Reaching throughout the shift

Other Requirements:

Must have an acceptable driving record and be at least 21 years of age or older

Hours:1st shift - 7:00am - 3:30pm (end time will vary depending on production needs)
