    Description

    Summary



    The Amarillo VA HEalth Care System is currently recruiting for a Connected Care Nurse Manager position. Upon assignment to this position, the incumbent's salary will include two additional steps for assignment to a Nurse Manager position.



    Duties


    1. Develops, implements, and maintains processes and mechanisms for scheduling telehealth clinic resources.
    2. Ensures that all telehealth clinics are authorized, use proper DSS coding, and are named in compliance with Network clinic telehealth naming conventions.
    3. The incumbent develops mechanisms to evaluate and monitor the quality, safety, efficiency, utilization, productivity, and effectiveness of CCT. He/she will direct the identification and incorporation of computerized data and information management tools and systems needed for CCT clinical care, as well as management of workload and budget.
    4. Consistently monitors utilization, fiscal impact, challenges, and outcomes of CCT applications, shares and disseminates information for continual quality improvement.
    5. Seeks opportunities for appropriate program expansion, including external support and resources where indicated.
    6. Develops and proposes an annual CCT program budget in coordination with facility leadership and the VISN CCT Program office.
    7. Develops a specific data collection and analysis strategy for all aspects of telehealth program evaluation, including clinical, fiscal, and satisfaction criteria for both clinicians and patients.
    8. Ensures programs comply with the VHA Credentialing & Privileging Handbook and that provider credentialing and privileging information is available and readily viewable at all VHA patient sites.
