About this role:
Wells Fargo is seeking a Governance and Control Owner with a background in API and Integration technologies, and a passion for building and delivering great products, to join the Chief Development Office - API and Integration Enablement team
In this role, you will:
- Lead complex initiatives to provide technological solutions to increase governance and control of APIs within Wells Fargo.
- Balance strategy, control, and technical delivery to help identify product features essential to bring value to internal customers and to deliver robust, companywide technology solutions while adhering to standards and governance
- Collaborate and consult with product owners, crossfunctional teams and Line of Business partners to guide product development, prioritization, decisionmaking and delivery commitments
- Define and Document Enterprise Policy and Control objectives addressing API Governance and Lifecycle Management
- Define feedback mechanisms and metrics to measure key risk and performance objectives.
- Act as a key participant in providing strategic business solutions to enterprise API Modernization technology initiatives
- Ensure communication and information flow between business and technology teams
- Assist with strategic product recommendations
Required Qualifications:
- 5+ years of Business Systems Data and Business Systems Designing experience, or equivalent demonstrated through one or a combination of the following: work experience, training, military experience, education
Desired Qualifications
- Experience with industry standard product methodologies, frameworks, and tools
- Experience in setting a product strategy, roadmap and in meeting product targets
- Experience accommodating regulatory changes in product planning
- SDLC (Software Development Life Cycle) experience
- Knowledge of APIs, the API Lifecycle, API security concerns and OWASP
- Experience with Agile methodology and collaboration tools like Jira and Confluence
- Experience working in financial services or a similar regulated industry
- Excellent communication skills and ability to articulate complex material to a diverse audience
- Experience presenting information in a manner that persuades, educates, and enhances understanding at all levels
