- Support recruiting and staffing logistics including updating applicant tracking system and job postings.
- Support with employee life cycle including pre-employment processes, onboarding, and termination.
- Support with orientation, development, and training logistics and recordkeeping.
- Prepare documents, spreadsheets and/or presentations.
- Track deadlines and priorities of all projects with status updates.
- Assist with client and employee requests and questions.
- Assist with employee relations.
- Assist with company-wide committee facilitation and participation.
- Assist with compensation and benefits administration and recordkeeping.
- Support employee safety, welfare, wellness, and health reporting.
- Maintain employee files and the HR filing system.
- Assist with the day-to-day efficient operation of the HR office.
- Develop and maintain HR Compliance Knowledge including laws and regulations.
- Performs other duties as assigned.
- Must possess excellent oral and written communication skills required to interface with applicants, employees, and management personnel.
- Candidates must have intermediate skills in Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
- Must be a detail oriented/organized individual with the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality.
- Ability to work in a team environment.
- Ability to communicate effectively and build interpersonal relationships.
- Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, and customers.
- Ability to define problems, collect data, establish facts, and draw valid conclusions.
- High initiative and problem-solving skills
- Working towards bachelor's degree in business or human resource management required
- Introductory understanding of legal compliance (EEO, FMLA/Worker's Compensation Laws) preferred.

Position Summary:The Human Resources Intern assists with the administration of the day-to-day operations of the human resources functions and duties. The HR intern supports with responsibilities in some or all of the following functional areas: departmental development, HRIS, employee relations, training and development, benefits, compensation, organization development, executive administration, and employment law.
