Part-Time Classroom Instructional Assistant at D28 Schools

Starting Hourly Rate:
$18.50 per hour; commensurate with experience

Benefits Eligibility:
Eligible for benefits for classified personnel

Work Year: 8/19/ /3/2025

Days Off:10 holidays plus winter break (10 days) and spring break (5 days)

Schedule:
hours (specific work time as assigned by Principal) plus opportunity for additional supervision time as assigned if needed

Qualifications & Licensure:

Paraprofessional Educator License
Basic level of technology and understanding of Google

Responsibilities include:

Providing small group and individual instruction to students as directed and supervisied by the classroom teacher
Clerical duties include grading papers, photo copying, etc.
Supervision of students during noninstructional activities that occur during the regular hour work schedule
Opportunity for additional supervision of students during playground, recess and/or lunchroom duty that occurs beyond the regular hour work schedule as assigned if needed
Opportunities to substitute teach with proper certifications (including substitute certificate)
